Sony has acquired the rights to make a film inspired by the biography of Steve Jobs, whose release date was brought forward to October 24.

iSteve, the official biography of Steve Jobs, has been anticipated in the next 24 October to grant to fans of the former number one in Cupertino have available within a short time after his death. On this biography, however, did not put eyes only supporters of the late former CEO of Apple, but also Sony, which had acquired the rights to bring the work on the big screen.

Steve Jobs will become so soon a movie with the authorization given by Walter Isaacson, whose signature appears at the bottom of the book to be released in the coming weeks and only author that Jobs wanted to entrust the writing of his biography. The agreement between the parties would have ended better for an undisclosed amount specified which should however be between one million and three million dollars. Directing the film will be director Mark Gordon.

This is the first film of Jobs inspired by official work, but not the first feature film ever based on the life of the co-founder of Apple bitten: already in 1999, in fact, in theaters around the world has been projected “Pirates of Silicon Valley,” in which the authors have tried to reproduce some of the highlights of the life of Steve Jobs paying tribute to him at that time was the last lifeline for Apple, whose product line names such as iPods iPhone and MacBook were still absent.
